Our experts are providing support with a positive psychology perspetive during conultations to Hungarian, English and German program students and to our colleagueges to help them organise and solve difficulties related to life management and studies.
How do we help?
Personal consultation is a one-on-one in person talk, where problems can be discussed and alternatives and solutions can be found.
Important! All experts are bound to anonymity and secrecy for all consultations.
What can we help with?
We can help evaluate more significant psychological problems ( mood disorders, eating disturbances, crises etc.). We inform those interested on how they can access therpeutic care.
What can we not help with?
Our service does not cover doctor-patient relations and service requiring therapy. We do not provide emergecí duty or care.We do not doagnoses and cannot prescribe medication.
What kind of problems are we dealing with?
- Problems connected to studies and courses; learning hardships, exam anxiety; fears, repeated failures; hardships with accommodating to the requirements of university and medical studies.
- The unique and demanding stressors that go with medical training.
- Problems in connection with life that also make studying harder: identity, self-image, self confidence. Stressors comig from life period: separating from family, independence, forming familiar relations and frindships, hardships of social life.
- For international students: adaptation to foreign culture and society with hardships.
- For staff, addressing workplace challenges, dilemmas related to career advancement and recognition, maintaining work-life balance, and managing stress caused by interactions with students and colleagues.

When to turn to a psychologist?
If...
you want to change or improve,
problems that wew easy before are suddenly difficult to handle,
you are experiencing "strangeness" in your behaviour and cannot figure out the reason for some actions,
you are struggling with problems with self-confidence and self-estee,
an unexpected event happened that you are having trouble processing and accepting,
you have unexplainable physical symptoms, feel sick, but even extensive medical examinations were unable to find a reason,
your relationship has drastically worsened with your family or friend,
you are having trouble with your romantic or familial relationships,
you are experiencing eating or sleeping disorders due to anxiety.
